YouthPower uses a positive youth development approach to implement programs within and across sectors. YouthPower seeks to improve the capacity of youth-led and youth-serving institutions and engage young people, their families and communities so that youth can reach their full potential. Election 2022 is fast approaching, the purpose of electing our leaders is a way to have a organize community. In the past generation young people are scared to stand out and show their capability in leading but then now on our generation most of the active citizen in our country in us the young people then in terms of being a leader age does not matter nowadays because even in the mini sector of our community ages 12 above has already the ability to lead in front of other people.
Youth lead for good governance talks about the purpose and role of the young people in our community. As an active youth I can see potentials that we the youth will be the future and we are catalyst for a change. And as what I have read in the internet about the role of yputh in governance that today’s youth need real opportunities to participate in political processes and contribute to practical solutions that advance development. When given an opportunity to organize, voice their opinions and play a meaningful role in political decision making, young people consistently demonstrate their willingness and ability to foster positive, lasting change. They also become more likely to demand and defend democracy, and gain a greater sense of belonging. And youth leads for good governance is an act for young people that they should be role models when they lead and promotes how good governance should be.
Being a leader does not mean that we need to be perfect, we are human too it is normal to us to commit mistakes but do not tolerate it. As a youth we should also have that ethics that people must on us specially respecting each others views and opinion. This is also in connection in achieving peace, youth should be united and light up the people who are in darkness as we break barriers in our life. Conflict prevention and resolution is more sustainable when young people’s perspectives are prioritized. Engaging young people and youth community leaders in peace efforts, decision-making and institutional reform processes provides an opportunity to constructively influence areas that directly impact their lives . Through unity everything is possible.
