Teenage pregnancy is pregnancy in a woman 19 years of age or younger. A woman can get pregnant if she has vaginal sex with a man at any age after she's begun having regular monthly periods. Adolescent pregnancies are a global problem not only in Zamboanga city but occur most often in poorer communities. Many girls face considerable pressure to marry early and become mothers while they are still a child.
Teenage pregnancy increases when girls are denied the right to make decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and well-being. Girls must be able to make their own decisions about their bodies and futures and have access to appropriate healthcare services and education.The regional office of the Population Commission has recoroded a rise in teen pregnancies in Zamboanga City amid a lockdown and a curfew for minors meant to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Teenage pregnancy is not easy specially those who are in the low level of living. One of my bestfriend got pregnant when she is 15 and then she tried to make an abortion but her mother told her that the child in her womb is innocent, that's the time she realised that it's not easy to be a teenage mom.

In Conclusions. It is known that girls who become pregnant as a teenager will face increased medical risks, and if the pregnancy is taken to term, there are also increased medical risks for their babies. We also know that teenage mothers, and their children, can suffer from poorer life outcomes.
