I was recently invited to experience Disneyland in Hong Kong when I was 7 years old. I was happy and amazed with all the things I have seen. "Everything was Magical". Since I was a little kid I was really dreaming and wishing to visit and have a wonderful and unforgettable experience in that place. I always imagine how could I ever get there? And I always wanted to spend my birthday in Hong Kong Disneyland with my family with me.
In the 20th of June, 2 days before my birthday, I was so shocked when I received advanced birthday gift, a "sponsored trip to Hong Kong Disneyland". I was really excited and I can't even wait to flew there as soon as possible.
The theme park is truly stunning and beautiful, I learned that this is the only Disneyland in the world that has a scenic mountain and sea view as a backdrop. There's a reason why this is called the "Magic Kingdom" and the truth is, I felt like I'd been transported to a different place than this old world that sometimes seems anything but "Magic". Despite being the smallest Disneyland in the world, Hong Kong Disneyland has a unique chinese culture inspired charm that will give you a more than usual Disneyland experience.
Upon arrival, we went straight to the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel to leave our things and met the marketing representative and staffs of Hong Kong Disneyland hotel. Our room was huge and we have a veranda with a wonderful view. From keycard to the notepad in the table, everything reminds me of my childhood dream, to visit the "Happiest place on earth". Our stay at the hotel was good and fantastic but I had a few other highlights that I thought really made this the experience of a lifetime.
As part of my sponsored birthday gift trip, I was lucky and fortunate to be able to truly enjoy the flight of Fantasy Parade. The humid temperature can't stop the huge crowd to flock and scream the main street as we wait for the most awaited parade. I'm a huge fan of great parades, but this was the best parade I've ever experienced. The parade begins at 3:30 P.M and they are a celebration of all the great Disney characters and stories that we all grew up with. From Cinderella, Snow White, Dumbo, Simba, King Louie and Baloo from the jungle book, Winnie the pooh to Buzz Light year, all of the great Disney characters made a real life appearance. Not only were the characters are there, but they were also singing those favorite Disney songs like "It's a small world" and I admit it felt like the world is really small and beautiful place. Very enjoyable too was the Golden Mickey's Award which is a like a Disney version of oscars with favorite Disney films winning favorite Disney awards and being presented by favorite Disney characters.
As the sun went down, the Tinkerbell Castle illumination made the whole park seem that much more magical with colored lights, music, and fireworks. The great exhibitions of martial arts and my favorite acrobatics are really awesome. I don't know how they did it, but I swear, I saw there, zipping around amongst the spires and I'd love to catch her and take her home with me, but instead, I guess I'll have to come back to see her again and all those "Magical" things I've ever experience in Hong Kong Disneyland that made me realize that I should finish my studies, find work, work hard and in the future or in the time I could have the chance to visit there again, I could bring and spend a wonderful lifetime experience with my whole family with me.
And that is the journey of my visit in the "Happiest place on earth".
